The history of Ramji Assar Vidyalaya dates back to over 107years ago. It was the brain child of an epoch maker Sheth Ramji Assar , who laid the foundation of the first co-education school in Ghatkopar in June 1911. This institution was created with an objective of providing an environment for the students for their multifaceted development, where the children are encouraged to unleash their hidden potentials in the pursuit of excellence.
A small sapling which was planted about 107 years ago, today has grown into a huge tree with various branches to its credit functioning under it. R. A. V. Trust runs a group of educational institutions that imparts education from Playgroup (P.G.) to Post Graduation (P.G.)
The students of Ramji Assar Vidyalaya institutions are exposed to various opportunities to explore their talents, interest and innovative ideas. Students are provided with a platform to think, express and exhibit their skills. The institution is trying its best to make the best possible efforts to imbibe strong values along with academics and extra-curricular activities to the students. Education is my most priced possession and teaching is a manifestation of a form of love. Education enables, empowers and praises young minds. The education they receive is what shapes them into responsible adults.
Teachers have an immense role not only in schools but in the society at large. Teachers create humans with values and teach them from right or wrong. And for excellent teachers, capable and ever-improving institutions are required.
RAV Committee recognizes this important role and the constant development that it has gone through for the last 100 years has helped us raise our children for a better future. Rather than molding a child into the shape of an adult, we help them open their minds for originality and creativity.

We take immense pride in highlighting the exceptional achievements of Mr. Ashish Himmatbhai Variya. A distinguished alumnus, he completed his schooling at Ramji Assar Vidhyalay - Gujarati Medium, and furthered his college education at our H.V.K Tanna College of Commerce.
Ashish embarked on a journey towards professional excellence by enrolling in the Chartered Accountancy course. Impressively, he successfully cleared all the examinations on his first attempt, showcasing his dedication and academic prowess.
Upon obtaining the prestigious Chartered Accountant designation, Ashish chose to specialize in the fields of accounting and auditing. His commitment to excellence led him to join a renowned Big 4 auditing firm, where he continues to contribute significantly to the profession.

Being a very average student in school days, hardly managed to get pass with 60% in SSC. A feeling of a very bad setback in academic career after the said results.
Fortunate to have joined HVK Tanna college for FYJC. The ground level understanding of commerce education is what I have learnt from this college made my ground very strong. It helped me to pursue a professional academic course of CS. I have completed the course of CS in 2014.
I am working as as investement banker from last 10 years and fortunate be to associated with credible names like SBI and JM Financial.
